How to approach it
The night opens at wave 5 with 27 enemies arriving in 5 groups. The first group is 5 raiders coming in on a weaving crossing. There are no armoured hexagons in this wave. 5 raiders cross the screen without joining the formation. 1 enemy drops a capsule: 1 × shield. On Easy you have five lives, two shield charges and slower enemy fire.
- Raiders weave across the middle of the screen; shoot them from the side they enter rather than chasing them.
- A wave this size takes a while to clear — keep drifting so the orbs never get a still target.
