How to approach it
The night opens at wave 8 with 32 enemies arriving in 6 groups. The first group is 6 darts coming in on a looping path. There are no armoured hexagons in this wave. 10 raiders cross the screen without joining the formation. 1 enemy drops a capsule: 1 × shield. On Hard you have three lives, no shield and quick, frequent enemy fire.
- Raiders weave across the middle of the screen; shoot them from the side they enter rather than chasing them.
- A wave this size takes a while to clear — keep drifting so the orbs never get a still target.
