How to approach it
The night opens at wave 8 with 26 enemies arriving in 6 groups. The first group is 4 raiders coming in on a weaving crossing. 2 armoured hexagons take three hits each and fire spreads from the top rows. 9 raiders cross the screen without joining the formation. Nothing in this wave drops a capsule. On Normal you have three lives and one shield charge.
- Go for the hexagons as soon as they settle: three hits each, and their spread is what ends most watches at this wave.
- Raiders weave across the middle of the screen; shoot them from the side they enter rather than chasing them.
